To celebrate that we will have been open a year in July and celebrating International Yoga Day 21st June…


International Yoga Day for Cancer Research at Yogazen Tingley

Friday 21st the lovely Vicky will led a Restorative Yoga & Crystal Healing workshop

Refreshments - Offer light refreshments herbal tea and dark choc or fruit


Intro about what this day means, charity take payments £8


Set an Intention - Encourage everyone to set a personal intention or set an affirmation for their practice. -star origami

Gentle Warm-Up

Breath Awareness - Start with some simple breathing exercises……like deep belly breathing or alternate nostril breathing.


Gentle Stretches - Move through some gentle stretches to warm up the body, focusing on the neck, shoulders, and spine.

Practice Inversions - Guide everyone through preparatory poses and simple inversions like Downward Dog, Dolphin Pose, and Shoulder Stand


Partner Work - maybe include partner work to assist with headstand.

Yin Yoga (30 minutes)

Explain the principles and benefits of Yin Yoga.

Guide everyone through a series of long-held poses. Emphasise deep stretching and mindful breathing.



6-6:30pm all


Closing Ceremony

Gratitude Practice - Lead a short gratitude practice, inviting everyone to reflect on their experience and express thanks.


Offer closing words, acknowledging the collective energy and the significance of International Yoga Day.


End with a group "Om" chant to unify the energy and conclude the session.


Sharing experiences at the end and connect with each other.



What is international Yoga Day?

The day spread awareness about the importance and effects of yoga on the health of people. The word 'yoga' is derived from Sanskrit which means to join or to unite.


What is yoga?

Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that gives calmness, peace, confidence, and courage to the people through which they can do several activities in a better way. At every level of existence, it is a state of harmony. Yoga is practiced in various forms around the world.
